Quick answer: The Jazz SIM Lagao offer is for SIMs not used in the last 30 days. Dial *551# to get it: 50 Jazz minutes a day, 3,000 SMS and 8 GB of data (4 GB of it for WhatsApp and Tamasha) for 60 days. Data does not work from 7 pm to 11 pm.
Jazz SIM Lagao, also called the Jazz band SIM offer or reactivation offer, is Jazz's way of bringing back customers whose SIM has been sitting unused in a drawer. It is not available on every SIM: only numbers with no use in the previous 30 days qualify. The details below are from Jazz's official offer page.

How the 8 GB is released
Jazz does not give all the data on day one. You get 2 GB general + 2 GB WhatsApp and Tamasha on Day 1, and the same again on Day 31. Each portion is valid for 30 days and does not carry forward, so unused MBs from the first month are lost when the second portion arrives.
Who is eligible
- Jazz prepaid SIMs that have not been used for the last 30 days.
- One subscription only. Jazz does not allow multiple subscriptions of this offer.
- The offer is not available on Chand Raat and Eid holidays.
If your SIM was used recently, even for one call or SMS, dialing the code will not activate the offer. In that case look at regular Jazz bundles instead.
How to activate Jazz SIM Lagao
- Put the old Jazz SIM in your phone and wait for signal. If the SIM shows no network, dial
*8822#, which Jazz lists to restore a deactivated or expired number, or visit a franchise. - Dial
*551#. - Read the confirmation message. It tells you whether the SIM is eligible.
- Check remaining resources with
*553*2#(as listed by ProPakistani), or through*444#.
Code conflict: Jazz's offer page says *551#, while its self-service dial code list shows *5510# for "Sim Lagao offer/Reactivation Offer". Try *551# first; if it does not respond, try *5510#.
Charges after the free resources
- Call setup charge: Rs 0.15 per call, and calls made through the offer cost Rs 0.02 per call.
- Data beyond the bundle: Rs 1 per MB while bundles are active; the base rate without any bundle is Rs 5 per MB, charged in 512 KB pulses.
To avoid surprise deductions once the data runs out, see the Jazz balance save page.
Is it worth it?
For a SIM you only keep as a backup, the Jazz SIM Lagao offer is worth it. You get two months of daily Jazz minutes and enough WhatsApp data for messaging at almost no cost. It is less useful as a main connection because the 7 pm to 11 pm data block covers the busiest evening hours and the minutes are for Jazz numbers only.
Find your number and balance on an old SIM
Forgot the number of the SIM you just found? Dial *99# (see Jazz number check code). To check balance, dial *111#; Jazz says prepaid balance does not expire, so any old balance should still be there.
