Jazz eSIM

- Visit a Jazz Experience Center, franchise or eligible retailer to register your number for eSIM. Biometric verification is required.
- You receive a QR code on a voucher. Do not share it with anyone.
- Connect your phone to the internet, open Settings > Cellular and tap Add Cellular Plan.
- Scan the QR code. Jazz says the eSIM activates within 5 minutes.
- To avoid blocking in PTA's DIRBS system, send both IMEIs to 8484, and email screenshots of IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 to typeapproval@pta.gov.pk for whitelisting, as Jazz instructs.
eSIM charges: Jazz's eSIM page says Rs 1,500 (excluding standard number charges), while its FAQ lists Rs 5,000 for a new number and Rs 2,000 for an existing number. Confirm the price at the shop before you pay. Jazz lists supported phones on its eSIM page, including recent iPhone, Google Pixel and some Huawei models.
Your phone's IMEI shows when you dial *#06#.
Lost or stolen Jazz SIM
- Block it right away: call 111 from any Jazz SIM, or the Jazz landline number from another network, or use WhatsApp self-service at 0300-3008000.
- Get a replacement: visit a retailer, franchise or Experience Center. The SIM owner must be present for fingerprint verification. Jazz lists Rs 550 for prepaid and postpay, and the new SIM works immediately after verification.

- Restore an expired number: dial
*8822#, listed in Jazz's FAQ. - Not used for 30 days? You may qualify for free minutes, SMS and 8 GB data with the Jazz SIM Lagao offer.
- Old balance: Jazz states that prepaid balance does not expire.
SIM ownership and the SIMs on your CNIC
Every Jazz SIM is registered to one CNIC. To see how many SIMs are registered in your name, send your CNIC number to PTA's SIM information service at 668. Changing ownership is restricted. For example, Jazz's FAQ allows transfer from a deceased owner only to a blood relative listed on the Family Registration Certificate, with the death certificate, the SIM itself and other checks. That process is free and takes about 2 business days.
