How to check Jazz balance with a code
- Open the phone app and type
*111#(or*4446*2#for the free method). - Press call. On a dual SIM phone, choose the Jazz SIM.
- Your main balance appears in a pop-up on the screen.
Check Jazz balance on WhatsApp
Save 0300-3008000 in your contacts, open WhatsApp from the phone that has your Jazz SIM, and send "Hi". The automated menu replies with numbered options; pick the account or balance option. Jazz lists this channel as free. It is handy when you are on Wi-Fi and do not want a USSD pop-up, and the same chat can show your recharge and call history.
Check balance in the SIMOSA app
Jazz's self-care app is called SIMOSA (the FAQ still calls it Jazz World in places). After you log in with your Jazz number and the OTP, your balance sits on the home dashboard. The app also shows remaining package resources and a "View History" section for usage, both free according to Jazz.
Postpay: check your bill instead of balance
Postpay SIMs have a bill, not a prepaid balance. Dial *1111# and Jazz sends your billing details by SMS for free.
Balance or package? Know which one you need
Your balance is money (rupees) used for calls, SMS and data when you have no bundle. Your package is the minutes, SMS and MBs you bought with that money. *111# answers the first question. To see remaining minutes or MBs, use the Jazz package check code page, which covers *444# and *7050#.
Why your balance drops faster than expected
- Data without a bundle. If mobile data is on and you have no internet package, data is charged from your balance. See the Jazz balance save code page for ways to stop this.
- Value added services. Subscriptions such as caller tunes or content services charge daily or weekly. Dial
*6611#to see and manage them. - Recent usage. Dial
*7050#to see usage details of the last 3 days, as listed on Jazz's dial code page. - Repaid advance. If you took emergency balance, it is taken back from your next recharge. See the Jazz advance code page.
Good news on one point: Jazz states that prepaid balance has unlimited validity and does not expire. So a quick Jazz balance check with *4446*2# once a week, at no charge, is enough to spot unusual deductions early.
